I had a unique experience at Hacienda El Carmen. the architectural beauty and lush surroundings made for a romantic setting, though the lack of modern amenities was a drawback. The food was decent but not excellent, and the absence of reliable internet was frustrating. Overall, it was a nice getaway with some highlights and a few misses.

The rooms were beautiful and spacious. I enjoyed my massive suite styled in Arte Nouveau. it was sunny with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. However, the beds were not soft, which was a downside for me.
